This was sent to the Columbia Business School community but allowed you to invite friends so here goes…

I’m pleased to invite you to a webinar presentation, “Startups in Uncertain Times,”  which will air on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, from 1-2:30 pm.  The panel includes outstanding representatives of the angel, venture capital and tech transfer industries.  We will examine emerging business and legal developments in the startup and early-stage markets, including the university “spin-out” sub-market.  The discussion should be of interest to investors, funds, entrepreneurs, companies, academic and research institutions, professional advisors and others involved with early-stage ventures.

The webinar will be hosted by the National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2).  Registration is free and may be accessed through this link.

Note that the Webinar starts on Pacific Time (PST) so adjust your watches New Yorkers… Most of these things, even when high quality, are fundamentally lead generation methods for people so you have been warned.
