JOB DESCRIPTION
We are actively seeking a full time Corporate Sales Executive (CSE) to join our growing sales force. The CSE will play an integral role in increasing market presence and revenue. The CSE will be implementing sales strategies in order to grow new business as well as up sell existing subscription contracts in assigned territories. The position involves business to business cold calling from leads comprised of current clients, trial users, past prospects and other prospecting lists, developing and maintaining client relationships in the corporate legal marketplace.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly & annual revenue objectives.
- Developing strategic sales plans for assigned territory; identifying new revenue growth opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and managing all resources necessary to secure business (i.e. providing customer and product support, recording activity and events in Salesforce.com and utilizing internal systems)
- Developing contacts and business relationships with in-house general counsels, decision makers, influencers and end users in assigned accounts.
- Communicating the value and competitive intelligence that can be gained from Law360 products to clients and prospects by holding in-person or webinar training sessions while utilizing a consultative sales approach to demonstrate how our products support the business goals of the firm.
- Ensuring that marketing directors and CMO’s understand how Law360 products support the business development efforts of their organization
Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- 3-5 years business-to-business, information product/corporate sales experience
- Proven ability to manage short and long sales cycles, with proven track record of successful revenue goal attainment
- Legal industry knowledge/experience preferred
- Must be able to quickly develop an understanding of Law360 products and business needs
- Exceptional sales/business communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
- Outstanding new business prospecting skills including but not limited to cold calling, converting leads into sales, networking, negotiating and closing
- Aggressive self starter with a great attitude and work ethic
- Strong organizational skills
- Results oriented
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Google Apps and other commonly used business applications
