Starwoods – Manager, Digital Strategy and Execution

POSITION PURPOSE:
Maximize 30MM+ digital marketing investment for Sheraton and Westin brands in North America.  Effectively work within a matrix organization to drive superior results for direct response and branding campaigns.  Inform and educate teams on best in class digital marketing practices. Champion innovation and inspire world class marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-manage $30MM+ digital spend for Westin and Sheraton with Sr. Director Brand Management and GWS digital lead.
  • Champion innovation, new and immerging digital opportunities.
  • Brief agencies and evaluate media opportunities.
  • Day to day contact for agencies when developing digital creative assets.
  • Work with GWS digital lead and Sr. Director on strategy for upper upscale brands.
  • In collaboration with B2B and B2C manager, create fully integrated marketing plans for brands.
  • Lead execution of digital programs and measure results on regular basis.
  • Brand expert to all external audiences, as well as internal audiences (both hotels and White Plains).
  • Liase with Field Marketing, Public Relations, Creative Services, Sales, SPG. Leisure Travel Sales, and NAD Brand management team.
  • Assists with internal marketing programs to effectively communicate brand plans and strategies
    Co-facilitate Field Marketing LEADS monthly calls.

Qualifications

Ideal Experience:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience gained in a variety of increasingly responsible marketing roles in demanding growth-oriented and world-class marketing/advertising organizations.
  • A well-trained, disciplined digital marketer with 5-8 years experience in a digital ad agency.
  • Proven track record of managing digital marketing campaigns with a results oriented focus.
  • Wide range of experience in a vast array of digital channels paid, organic search, OLA, social media, mobile, landing page and website development.  He/she must have a firm grasp of how these marketing disciplines interact to connect with the target audience and drive image and business results.
  • Knowledge of Omniture.
  • Ideally retail/hospitality sector experience.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
