Job Description
FreeWheel is looking for a creative, intelligent and highly motivated Business Services Associate with an entrepreneurial spirit to help manage and build out all aspects of the Business Services Group (http://www.freewheel.tv/products/bsg/). The Business Services Group is charged with helping major media clients design and operate their advertising businesses in the constantly evolving and highly networked world of online video monetization.
In this role, you will be exposed to and involved with virtually all aspects of building and executing a world-class professional/for-pay consulting services infrastructure including:
• Market strategy & partner management – Helping customers better understand the complexities of the new syndicated video ecosystem.
• Business strategy & operations – Helping customers design and define their businesses, operations and processes for managing an advertising business in a networked world.
• Advertising operations – Helping customers get more out of our end-to-end ad management platform, from sales to business development to yield and inventory management.
• Managed services – Helping define and manage services like creative format production/ingestion, trafficking, technical services, distributor services/coordination, etc.
For the right candidate, this position will allow for tremendous growth opportunities as FreeWheel continues to scale as the lead player in the online video ad management solutions market. This position will report directly to the VP, Client & Business Services in New York.
Skills
ABOUT YOU
• BS/BA degree from a top school with at least 4-6 years working experience at a consulting firm or related online media organization
• MBA a plus
• Deep and progressive experience with online advertising/marketing, ad operations and/or product management experience is a must
• Extraordinary organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Very comfortable dealing with complex financial metrics and accounting as it relates to online media operations
• Ability to manage yourself against a robust workload with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines
• Critical to success will be the ability to learn new ideas and systems quickly and translate them into concrete outputs related to the business
• Solid experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
