Position: Director of Brand Marketing
Position Overview:
A boutique interactive agency specializing in youth marketing is seeking a senior team member to lead brand marketing for several of our partners. As a matter of practice, we look for hybrid types:
- synthesizers who understand the importance of creativity and can marry inventive ideas with strategic thinking;
- executors who aren’t afraid to pull up their sleeves but always consider the big picture;
- and leaders who can bring things to life independently but know how to delegate and inspire staff.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with and contribute to development of the company.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic insights
- Create and execute innovative brand marketing programs
- Manage brand marketing for various noise partners
- Develop and present creative briefs to team and creative work to clients
- Liaise across the organization with the creative and production teams
- Manage vendor negotiations and relationships
- P&L management
Basic Qualifications:
- Whip-smart, passionate, and fun to work with
- 7-10+ years of successful brand marketing and management experience
- Great marketer with a deep understanding of direct marketing and experience with loyalty programs
- An entrepreneurial, make-it-happen spirit
- Broad understanding of the industry, media, and technology
- Great presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter and, simultaneously, a team player
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- MBA preferred
